@Nick : the link redirects you lot to this folio: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and then you accept to download the 'media creation' tool. The instructions are on another page, here . The instructions claim you lot can create the download iso and tool whether the machine you're using is 32-bit or 64-bit, idea of just creating the tool to install on another machine. But that'due south not true, either. I but downloaded both the 32-bit and 64-bit tools: the 64-flake tool wouldn't run on THIS machine, because this machine is 32-chip. So I can Not prepare for download on another PC, equally I cannot even prepare a 64-bit tool.
So I worry that you lot cannot make an iso, but rather it'due south a download to install.
Will retry, on a 64-fleck Win7 I have. If it gets trashed, no biggie. My next post volition accept results.

Tool and Download Results: I can download 64-bit AND 32-fleck only from a 64-flake PC. Also, its default language is 'cestina', Czech. Tin can change to English language Us, simply since this was overlooked, I'm afraid the installer may be buggy. For it'south not saying what the MSFT webpage says.
Also, there's an option to download ten Pro N versus 10 Pro, what's the departure? I'm bold ten Pro N means for network. You can download more than than one season. Will report back afterwards doing all this, run across how information technology goes.
The webpage instructions say you need at to the lowest degree 4 GB, but the downloader says 6 GB minimum. Big difference.
EDIT: 30 minutes downloading to USB. (I'm on Comcast Xfinity, and then they must have ramped up the speed during last weekend's cyberspace outage.) I'k downloading 'both' (whatever that means).
So at present it's on USB as both 32-bit and 64-bit versions: total size five.57 GB. Hither, Win10 Pro, not Pro N (which again I assume is for server).

brainout, practise you use the DownThemAll extension for FireFox? cat1092 has led me to this and it is peachy! makes downloads fast and secure, and checks the hash if yous accept it.

pcpunk, you might have to phone it in. There are instructions on that page here it says information technology didn't find the key, for a phone number. Or should be. I have a telephone number, but unfortunately the vimeo site where I show it, is down, vimeo glitch. I'm non sure if I brought that phone number into BC.
I don't yet utilize DownThemAll, cheers for the proffer.

The N versions of Windows originate back from XP when antitrust suits stuck on Microsoft. There is no Windows Media Player in this version. It's designed for somewhere in Europe. There'due south a Chiliad version for Korea as well that has no Windows messenger also... I remember there's a few other versions simply I don't retrieve them off the top of my head.

Hey guys, I downloaded the iso, just M.S. would not give me an Activation Central. They said my HP Product Key was good but Tech would not aid me out. Practise I need to actually outset the install to obtain this? that is something I take been told, but that info was old. Don't want an upgrade, I would rather make clean install.

@pcpunk : the official release iso is not like our TPs, which are all activated now. The official downloader will not allow you lot to exercise a clean install until you first upgrade the older Windows. So yous have to clone your older Windows first, or finer you lose it.
So you have to boot in the older Windows, insert the usb/DVD and then on the latter, click its 'setup.exe'. This will ONLY upgrade on top of your existing Windows. You tin choose to go along all function or none of your old Windows, every bit you'll see in the options, but you cannot cull 'clean install' until the upgrade stride has completed.
During the update process, since the central for your older Windows is embedded in that older Windows, the Win10 tool/iso looks for the onetime embedded license, on your machine: so Y'all practise not provide the key. If the Win10 tool/iso has a trouble finding that fundamental, it might cease or kicking loop or just revert you back to your quondam Windows (not without impairment). And you won't know, that'southward why.
Simply after its upgrade is successful, tin can you then employ the same key to do a clean install. Because past and so, the key will be replaced with a Win10 central. Which means, your old license is terminated, replaced with Windows 10 (not good, as the Win10 license is conditioned on OEM back up for your device, and so can be DOA).

Actually Windows ten doesn't requite you a new key when information technology's activated. What happens is a HASH number is generated based on your hardware that is used by MS to track activations. If that difficult changes the hash doesn't match and reactivation may exist necessary.
